February 10 - Moving at a Gray Streak
Up reasonably early such that the pdf of Merton Songs, page 5, and a sixth composed measure of Psalm 87 are completed (as well as the daily 21st-Century Music update) before
heading out the door in
striking
clouds
(via DVC errands) and a bit of
welcome rain, towards Orinda and
Oakland,
to
Zoltan DiBarto's
viewful and
commodious
art-bestrewn
spread
(featuring works of his sister and her
teacher -- seemingly appropriate for the day's endeavors) for a
Goat Hall Productions
Kurt Weill Project / Threepenny Opera
dialogue rehearsal with
Sibel Demirmen,
Harriet March Page, and
Margery Fairchild (who provides careful, helpful direction).
We
decamp
locally
to
The Glenview District
and
Marzano
for octopus (seems appropriate, given Mr. Peachum's line ("Captain? Octopus Hotel?") and pizza, drop Margery off at Live Oak Theatre in Berkeley, and head back, after a surprisingly full day, to compose page 14 of The Decameron.
Now 69 MB (6.75%) of the 1024 -- pretty much exactly on schedule...
