After 21st-Century Music work, pdf of Missa Calfornia: Sanctus (page 3), and detail-edits of Triple Concerto: III (40) and The Decameron - Second Day: VI (pages 10-12) --
out the door with Harriet,
leisurely Sierra-bound,
ascending the foothills,
into the
high
country
and
stopping
at
Donner
Summit
for
a
looksee
on
a
path
associated
with
the
Pacitic
Crest
Trail
(a welcome re-visit
after so many years).
Next
downslope,
and up
and over
into the
Tahoe Basin,
ascending again on 431 to
the
Meadows,
for another charming walk -- adjacent to Moraine Ridge,
volcanic knolls,
Slide
Mountain, and
Rose Ridge --
looping
around
to
cross Ophir Creek,
returning past
weather-slain
pines,
to the lower
boardwalks
and point
of origin.
Finally,
surmount
the Rosicrucian summit,
winding down to Bowl Road, taking a third jaunt, now along the road from here
to
Washoe Lake
View.
Beyond more views of Mt. Rose and
Reno Valley
along precipitous slopes and
extensive
inclines,
we reward
ouselves in
the early
evening,
adjacent to monumental whatever,
at a charming Mediterranean spot, cuisinianly tilted toward
the east,
returning in the
dead of night to compose pages 5 and 6 of DSD: IX.
