May 8 - All Downhill
Pdf some of Duo Sonata No. 2, compose more Decameron, and edit Psalm 95 anon (pages 6, 97, 5 re each),
heading down
a spectacular
680 corridor
to
DVC, where Laurin and Erik Wilson hold forth respectively for dictation and board harmony.
Back
home
under
truly
amazing
skies,
another
week
of Literature quizzes is corrected (albeit out of sequence --
with Harriet's brother Tony stopping by for a visit and overnight),
then
schoolward again to proceed
eveningwise
from Howard Shore (Lord of the Rings), via Mark Alburger (Psalm 6, Camino Real, and The Decameron), to Prince (Darling Nikki) and Erling Wold (Sub Pontio Pilato, In the Stomachs of Fleas) -- looking ahead to the exam in two weeks, which will include
music by composers born between 1960 and 1975, and beyond.
Out
afterward with Owen and Doug (perhaps our last trio session, as signs point to teaching the Literature class in the daytime hereafter) and
company.
