January 17 - The Question Is

Leaving at 6:20am on a cold Tuesday (21 degrees),

pre-dawn ridges almost with a desertic quality,

fog

on the

frost,

mystical

and

varied

light through Sonoma and

Marin -- the traffic is vastly more congenial than on a standard Monday (and even today, after the Martin Luther King holiday, which could have potentially bumped the energy forward).

There's time to swing around for

San Anselmic

errands (featuring greetings), before rendezvous'ing with Crystal and Stanley at the place,

heading up with them to the

open space,

taking the circuit out to Plateau Hill

and

back,

with

stimulating talk

under the

sun.

Reversing course through Marin,

Sonoma,

and

Solano -- the night was short, but, after a respite, back to more of the day's tasks, including pdf for Street Songs 38 and composition of page 7 Psalm 84.
