hoagie and namesake at the local Philly Cheese Steak Shop
for late lunch
with Harriet, while reviewing Brief Encounter (David Lean's 1945 film, after Noel Coward's Still Life, 1936), finishing the pdf of Spectral Preludes: IX. Blue (4 pages total), and composing Double Piano Concerto: III (page 16) and The Decameron - Third Day: VII (18).
In the evening,
off to Peter Jackson's The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (2012, after J.R.R. Tolkien's novel, 1937),
returning home for late night refreshment.
